Syndicate 559 Riders all podium at Bounty Hunter MX
Syndicate 559, the premier motocross race team in Central
California, had a banner day at round 4 of the CMA Bounty Hunter series in
Hanford, CA. The Kings County Fairgrounds saw one the biggest spectator
turnouts ever and the team rose to the occasion.
David Booth led the way on his #10 bikes. He took a very
solid second overall in the 125cc Pro division over some tough competition.
David rode his Honda CRF450R in the 250 Pro class and Bounty Hunter main
event, where he made a strong showing as well. After battling through some
nagging injuries this year, David is back on track and picking up speed with
every lap.
Frank Darnley continued to ride up front in the Vet Pro
class. Also riding a CRF450R, Frank took second overall in Hanford. Halfway
through the series, he has a stranglehold on the points lead and plans to
keep it that way. They might as well engrave the plaque now!
It’s not glamorous, but somebody has to do it. Eddie
Graveline ran Syndicate colors in the Vet and 250 Beginner classes in
Hanford. An untimely stall put a damper on his overall finish in the 250
class, but he rode his Clawson Motorsports RM250 to 2nd in both
Vet motos. Current point standings have yet to be released, but top three
finishes in both classes are well within reach.
Keep your eyes on Nick Baker in the 85cc ranks. He won the
Intermediate and X classes in Hanford and tops the point standings in both
for the series. Nick rides for Clawson Motorsports and is what you might
consider a Syndicate pledge right now. With the right connections, this
little speedster could get “made” very soon.
With the Fall race season quickly approaching, the Syndicate
is excited to be racing at full strength. The 2004 bikes are starting to
trickle into Clawson Motorsports and the riders are drooling. The new
machines should hit the track very soon. Team riders Craig “Rapo” Rannells
and TJ “The Netslave” Moore will return to action in a couple of weeks.
Syndicate team members
compete aboard Clawson Motorsports machines. Moto One Speed Shop keeps the
bikes running at peak performance. Renthal and Works Connection components
provide optimum control, protection and durability. Syndicate bikes always
hook up great thanks to Dunlop tires. Spy Optics keep the windows clean and
Madman Apparel dresses us. Please show them some love.
