TEAM MISSION:
To bring recognition to some of
Central California's fastest motocross racers while providing them with the
support necessary to improve on past results.
TEAM GOALS:
The primary goal of SYNDICATE 559
will be to dominate motocross on a local, regional and national level. The
following events are on the team’s agenda for the 2003 season:
CMC Trans-Cal MX series
CMC Goldenstate MX series
GFI Winter MX series
GFI Spring MX series
CMA Bounty Hunter MX series
CMA Pacific Coast Pro-Am MX
series
AMA National Amateur MX
Championships (Loretta Lynn’s)
Chevy Trucks AMA Motocross
Nationals
AMA Western 4-Stroke Motocross
Nationals
TEAM PERSONNEL:
Rider:
#10 David Boothe (125/250 Pro) David is well known in California as one of
the hottest young pros. He is a consistent performer and always a threat. At
20-years-old, he has a bright motocross future ahead of him. David has his
sights set on winning championships this year. Additionally, 2003 will see David
in his first national level competition as a pro.
Rider:
#83 Frank Darnley (250/Vet Pro) Frank is a dominant rider at the regional
level and will be entering his first national events this year. To say that he
has the gift of gab would be an understatement. Frank is one of the best
rider/product marketers you will ever meet. His specialties are promoting
sponsors at the track and working with young riders.
Rider:
#444 Craig “Rapo” Rannells (250 Nov./Vet Int.) Rapo is one of a kind. At
first glance, he looks like a cross between Uncle Fester and Mr. Clean, but he’s
all business when it comes to racing. If he wasn’t already known as Rapo,
“Ironman” would be a good nickname for him. He doesn’t feel like he gets a
workout unless he rides at least 4 classes! He usually wins at least two of
them.
Manager/Rider: #559
Eddie Graveline (250/Vet Beg.) Definitely not the fastest rider on the team,
Eddie makes up for it by keeping everything organized. From the PR side down to
ordering parts, Eddie’s main job is to make sure that the team represents itself
professionally and works hard for its sponsors.
Webmaster/Rider:
#118 TJ Moore (Vet Beg.) TJ is another one that earns his keep not by what
he does on the track, but by supplying the clean website you’re viewing right
now. Known as “Gazoo” at his real job (he’s a motorcycle cop), TJ works as the
webmaster for several websites, including
www.motopress.net, and has become quite
good at what he does. He and Eddie have an epic rivalry in the Vet Beginner
class that is reminiscent of the Bailey/Johnson days.
